Welcome to Recovering Legalists Ministries!

Mission Statement


Recovering Legalists Ministries was founded to assist those people who have been involved in churches or cults where His grace was not fully explored and appreciated and those who have not experienced unconditional love in their families of origin. We wish to point people to Jesus. 

We are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10).

The mission of RLM is simply to point those recovering from legalism* to Him and His love and care. Some of the means are as follows:

  • Pointing those in recovery to healthy ministries--including tapes and videos on grace and God's unconditional love.
    We encourage recovering legalists to appreciate their relationship with Jesus and use their spiritual gifts in the part of Christ's Body to which the Holy Spirit leads.
  • Other good works projects which come to our attention. Jesus had compassion on the sick, poor and distressed. Jesus is in us (Galatians 2:20) and we shall respond as able.

For the last 12 years RLM services have been informational with only periodic email and phone contact with those requesting it.  We now have a volunteer, John, who is willing to communicate with you confidentially and to pray with you.  There is no charge nor will he be promoting a particular church.  He will be promoting Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Salvation.  If you would like to hear from John, send your confidential inquiry to the following email address: Jesus007525@aol.com
